This is a permanent piece displayed at the adidas Consumer Centre by Montgomery Park. In 2017, there was an open call on the PDX campus to participate in an art exhibition. The theme of the show was “East vs. West”.
I picked the West Coast and focused on the different professional teams in California. Adopting the gritty narrative from the “Game of Thrones”, each team is represented as a house, hence the name, “Game of Cali”. Elements from different sports have all been added to the piece to celebrate the blood, sweat and tears of each sport.
